Irregular verbs



Forget the future! It's all about the past now! You can start by revising and practising irregular verbs here. Don't forget to learn the pronunciation, too. It's just as important as the spelling.

Writing: description of a person

She's a bit forgetful.

Write a description of a person you know well. You have a model text and instructions on page 113 of your book.

Remember:

  • Plan your paragraphs carefully (see your book)
  • Use a variety of personality adjectives.
  • When you say something negative, use a bit + negative adjective (a bit messy) or not very + positive adjective (not very organized)
